Hey everyone!
Can you believe it is already the end of the school year? This time of the year is filled with all different emotions for both teachers and students. To help make the end of the year stay positive, I am teaming up with some amazing bloggers for a fun end of the year blog hop and giveaway to keep everyone smiling! 🙂
I know my biggest struggle at the end of the year is keeping structure while still having fun and ending the year in a positive way. Therefore I am giving away my students’ favorite activity this year – “Roll That Dice”! Complete with the giant Target Dollar Spot Inflatable Yard Dice! This activity allows you to create a fun activity, while still maintaining some structure in the classroom.
This game can be used for ANYTHING – math review, literacy review, grammar practice, vocabulary practice, community building, etc. You can create your OWN game with whatever content you plan to use!
I plan on creating a game for students to remember our year. They will have to answer questions about events that happened throughout the year, field trips, funny incidents that everyone remembers, positive student behaviors, students of the month, etc! I can’t wait to reminisce on our year while rolling giant inflatable dice and continuing to create a positive/fun environment in our classroom throughout one of the craziest times of the year!
Now those dice… (insert heart eye emoji here)! Not only can you use the dice for this activity, but you can use them for just about anything! We use them during morning meeting for various activities, playing math games, centers, outside activities, calling students to the board, etc. Lining up in the classroom is even SO much more fun when you get to roll the dice to dismiss groups of students! 😉 Seriously though, they can make everything fun!
You can find the activity in my TPT store here. TO WIN the Roll That Dice – Editable Interactive PDF & Inflatable Yard Dice, enter the rafflecopter below!
Not only can you win some fantastic end of the year activities throughout this hop but you can make your end of the year even sweeter by entering to win a $100 gift card to Target! To be entered to win the gift card, you must complete ALL of the entires in the Rafflecopter!
You can find more end of the year and summer activities in my TPT store! Fill up that wish list with some of these end of the year activities for the TPT sale tomorrow!

May 9, 2017 at 1:12 amAt the end of the year, I love ending with community building activities, just like we started the year with. My favorite one is called touchstones where students can annonymously let others know how much they meant to them and also have students stand in front of a whiteboard and their classmates write positive messages around them-I take a picture and send it home with them on the last day as a nice surprise.
